Cauliflower Keto-rice

Rice are high on carbohydrates and eating them can throw your keto-diet for a toss. So here we bring to you, a substitute for rice – Cauliflower rice. All you do is grate the low carbohydrate veggie to get the rice texture and top it with your favourite seasoning. What’s more? Add your favourite vegetables to play with flavours, but don’t forget – Keto-friendly.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower: ½ medium
  • Coconut oil: 1 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced: 1 clove
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method Steps

Rinse cauliflower and break into large chunks.

Grate the cauliflower to a coarse texture using a cheese grater (cauliflower rice).

In a pan, heat the coconut oil over medium heat.

Sauté the onion and garlic until onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).

Add in cauliflower rice. Continue to sauté for 4-5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
